Caption:One January we had a rare free day in our travel plans. After much discussion, we decided to drive Switzerland to see the Swiss Alps in all their snowy glory. But, instead of crystal blue skies and snowy white mountains, everything was a thick misty gray. A thick fog enveloped the mountains and the entire city of Geneva. The waterfront appeared haunted as vacant boats bobbed up and down in the mist, and birds seemed to appear out of the thin air.
